Gabe is fearless, adventurous, extremely intelligent and very loyal. Although very mellow in the house, Gabe is a true sportsman outdoors. He loves swimming and boating, or just going on really long walks through the woods. His favorite place is definitely the beach; he can swim for hours. No matter what is going on, Gabriel loves to be in the center of it. If we are on the boat, Gabriel wants to have his head over the bow; if someone is snorkeling, Gabriel is riding on their back. The moment Gabe stepped foot onto an agility course, he was a natural. He loves doing agility. He is so interesting because when we are waiting in line, he will sometimes lie down and fall asleep. Then, when we put him on the start line, he trembles and whimpers in anticipation. He is such a great partner. It is sad that, because of college, we could never take him where he was meant to go.
