Karmen with Star and Ferris the Papillon |
|
|
|
The first and most obvious piece of news is that we have changed the look of our website.
We hope that you like it. 2007, in a nutshell, was a fun-filled year for us. We've had many changes in our personal lives, including Karmen's purchase of
a stunning Friesian mare, Sadalmelik "Star", followed by a home with property for the mare. |
|
Three Papillons found their way to us in 2007. In November,
I flew to Poland for the weekend and came back with two beautiful puppies, Peyton and Ava. I had a fantastic
time and made some wonderful friendships in the process. Then, just before Christmas, we purchased a stunning young adult from
America named Londyn. |
 |
2008 began and seems to be flying by rather quickly. I can't believe the year has gone by so fast! I should have known from
our New Year's festivities that it was going to be a crazy year! I graduated and got a job. Karmen and I got back into agility class
with Gabriel and Juliette. We took a long break during our years of college and we are now having a great time seeing how much fun
Gabriel and Juliette are having being back in the sport. It would be wonderful to get back into competition and earn some of those much desired titles. |

I bought a new camera and wanted to play around with it so I grabbed some dogs as my subjects. |
|
I am so thrilled because Ava and Juliette are best friends. There is more than an 8 year age difference between them, but they are constant playmates. |

Above are Karmen and two more Aleda-Letit girls, Peyton and Londyn. Karmen was playing hostess in her new house. |

Tonight I took a few pictures of Karmen's girls. There are more pictures of them on their individual pages. |

Ferris turned 4 on August 5, 2008! |
Below are a few of Karmen and Mike's engagement photos.

In September, the area where we live was hit by Hurricane Ike. Our family and pets evacuated to New Orleans during the storm.
When we returned, we were stunned by what we saw. The news doesn't talk about it, but people died and thousands lost their homes and
everything they had. Most of them are still without a home to this day. We were extremely fortunate because we sustained minimal damage.
Below are just a few pictures.
